With over 20 years of experience in wealth and portfolio management, Ryan specializes in servicing the unique needs of affluent clients, along with building personalized investment strategies for individuals, families, charities, foundations, and corporations.

Ryan’s investment philosophy was built on the understanding that no two clients are the same. He emphasizes spending time with each client to gain insight into their values and lifestyle. Ryan strives to develop long-term, custom-tailored strategies to preserve and protect the wealth that his clients have spent a lifetime building.

Ryan believes that informed clients make better decisions, placing the utmost value on providing ongoing communication and education through various channels. In turn, his clients gain an understanding – and with it, comfort around recommended strategies and why they are suitable.

While Ryan’s interest in finance developed from a young age, he quickly learned that his fascination with the industry went beyond market analysis and investment opportunity, to a personalized dimension of financial advice. Once he began working one-on-one with clients, he was able to implement unique strategies to help match investments with the psychology of the individual investor, helping to bridge the gap between the academic approach and its practical application to the everyday lives of people.

Ryan is active in several charitable organizations, including promoting financial education for Canadian youth. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, avidly reading, searching for unique collectibles, and striving to improve his game on the golf course.

Ilya’s primary responsibilities are focused on research, quantitative analysis, financial modelling, and asset allocation. His keen interest and attention to detail serve to seek high quality financial opportunities for our clients.

 

Ilya graduated with a Bachelors of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo, with a focus on capital markets and economics. He has various professional experience in financial audits, buy-side asset management, and institutional fixed income sales & trading.

 

He has a passion for capital markets, across a broad spectrum of asset classes such as equities, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and derivatives. In his spare time, Ilya enjoys conducting research for capital market assets through fundamental and technical analysis, with thorough corroboration of macro- and micro-economic factors. Furthermore, Ilya enjoys modelling quantitative data to develop investment strategies and experiment with algorithmic trading.
