While Ryan’s interest in finance developed from a young age, he quickly learned that his fascination with the industry went beyond market analysis and investment opportunity, to a personalized dimension of financial advice. Once he began working one-on-one with clients, he was able to implement unique strategies to help match investments with the psychology of the individual investor, helping to bridge the gap between the academic approach and its practical application to the everyday lives of people.

Ryan is active in several charitable organizations, including promoting financial education for Canadian youth. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, avidly reading, searching for unique collectibles, and striving to improve his game on the golf course.

Ilya’s primary responsibilities are focused on research, quantitative analysis, financial modelling, and asset allocation. His keen interest and attention to detail serve to seek high quality financial opportunities for our clients.

Ilya graduated with a Bachelors of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo, with a focus on capital markets and economics. He has various professional experience in financial audits, buy-side asset management, and institutional fixed income sales & trading.

He has a passion for capital markets, across a broad spectrum of asset classes such as equities, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and derivatives. In his spare time, Ilya enjoys conducting research for capital market assets through fundamental and technical analysis, with thorough corroboration of macro- and micro-economic factors. Furthermore, Ilya enjoys modelling quantitative data to develop investment strategies and experiment with algorithmic trading.

Karley has recently joined our team at CIBC Wood Gundy in an Administrative capacity.

Karley specialized in Finance and Economics during her time in the Rotman Commerce program, while in pursuit of a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Toronto. Her prior experiences include various internships and placements within the Financial Services industry, centering around asset management and financial reporting. Outside of work, Karley enjoys playing golf, and takes a great interest in reading.

With over 15 years of experience in the life insurance industry, Aram works with affluent families, business owners and executives to create tax efficient insurance based strategies that build and safeguard wealth. Insurance planning with both personal or corporate wealth is tailored to each client with the end goal of providing certainty that enhances the lives of clients, their families and businesses.

Aram strongly believes best results are achieved through a holistic team approach. He works collaboratively with other trusted advisors ensuring wealth is sheltered for both philanthropic aspirations and future generations. Fully committed to his profession he views continuing education as vital. Outside of the office Aram keeps busy with his wife and three young children. On weekends he can be found with his family at the cottage or on the soccer field where his competitive nature is evident.

Chris specializes in providing financial planning services to high net worth clients. He is committed to providing holistic financial planning and customized strategies to assist them with their goals around wealth accumulation, preservation and distribution. Chris holds his CFP and PFP designations, bringing over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and maintains his dedication towards ongoing professional development. Chris has been a financial planner for 16 years and throughout he has provided clients with value; creating plans which serve as the framework for their financial aspirations.
